Last Friday, there was a presentation for the book, ” The Tea Book”, we had been working on. I was told that  the guests were all friends of the editorial and it would be very family-kind of atmosphere. Sure… there were so many people and other two presenters were so prepared (they both had 5 pages of beautifully printed speech script) that I was quite nervous. At the end, the book shop owners were very friendly, the guests were very helpful with my halting Spanish and it went all good. Thank you for coming.

先週の金曜日、去年の11月から関わっていた本、”お茶の本”のプレゼンテーションがありました。ゲストはみんな出版社の友達だから、和やかな雰囲気になるよと言われていました。もちろん…　後から後からやってくるゲストの数と、他の2人（お茶の先生と表装の専門家）のあまりの準備の良さ（2人とも5ページの及ぶきれいに印刷されたスピーチ用台本を持っていました）に、ちょっと緊張。でも最後には、本屋の店長さんたちは親切だし、ゲストの人たちも私のつたないスペイン語に最後まで付き合ってくれたし、全てうまく収まりました。来てくれた皆さん、ありがとう。

El viernes pasado, hubo una presentación del libro, “el Libro de Té” que estabamos trabajando desde noviembre año pasado. Me dijieron que los invitados eran amigos de la editorial y iba a ser muy familiar y relajado. Claro… había mucha gente y otros los dos presentadores estaban tan preparados (ambas tenían como 5 páginas de guion que estaban imprimidos maravillosamente) que me puso bastante nerviosa. Sin embargo al final los dueños de la librería eran majos, los invitados tenían mucha paciencia con mi español vacilante, y todo fue muy bien. Gracias por venir.
